Julie works hard and tries not to take herself too seriously. A career Visual Artist & Designer, Julie has spent the last 20+ years slam-dunking design work for clients big and small. She has also been the featured speaker at numerous events with other like-minded professionals.

Having grown up in Southern Illinois, Julie enjoys tooling around in her Jeep in the Shawnee National Forrest, growing stuff, and cooking and eating—a lot. She is also currently rabid about getting into shape and losing 24 more pounds. Julie disagrees with her two sons, Brandon & Luc, daily.

Julie specializes in visual design & interaction design — two fancy terms she uses to make herself sound important and to explain that she cares about both how things look and how things work.

When Julie is not being a jerk by forgetting to label her Photoshop layers, eating all the pepperoni and colby-jack cheese in her refrigerator and until recently, showing up for work in her pajamas, she enjoys never being satisfied with her own work, the Chicago Bears, music (really loud), reading (Stephen King, naturally) and movies (lots of them). You know, stuff that most chicks like. A real original.
