SeitzLife is the product of a long and successful career.
Julie, the owner, works hard and tries not to take herself too seriously. A career Visual Artist & Designer, She has spent the last 20+ years slam-dunking design work for clients big and small. She has also been the featured speaker at numerous events with other like-minded professionals.
Having grown up in Southern Illinois, Julie enjoys the great outdoors. Now Lake Hamilton, Lake Ouachita, Bull Shoals Lake (and most recently Grenada Lake and Enid Lake) are her outdoor playgrounds. Some days she stills says she is going to live on a houseboat for a year.
She loves growing stuff, and cooking and eating—a lot. She is also currently rabid about getting back into shape, losing 24 more pounds and running in another 5K.
Julie disagrees with her two sons, Brandon & Luc, daily. But being YaYa to her beautiful grands is her greatest accomplishment.
Julie specializes in visual design & interaction design — two fancy terms she uses to make herself sound important and to explain that she cares about both how things look and how things work.
When Julie is not being a jerk by forgetting to label her Photoshop layers, eating all the pepperoni and colby-jack cheese in her refrigerator and until recently, showing up for work in her pajamas, she enjoys never being satisfied with her own work, the Lake, the Chicago Bears, music (really loud), reading (Stephen King, naturally) and movies (lots of them). You know, stuff that most chicks like. A real original.
